I prefer the middle one of the two you have in colour; but I do see what you mean about the sketch... I don't think I've EVER nailed a final painting as good as my under-sketch (something I'm still trying to perfect)... I think it's just one of those things, as with preferring rough animation pencil tests over a final cleaned-up seq.
Thank you Max! I agree with you, sometimes I put so many details making the final result looks pretty different from the sketch. It's not bad, but the sketch tends to be live
